Pastor Tunde Bakare Berates DSS Over Alleged Silence On Benue Killings
Pastor Tunde Bakare, founder of Latter Rain Assembly, has attacked the Department of State Services (DSS), for its suspicious quietness over the massacre carried out in Benue by suspected Fulani herdsmen in State.

The church leader stated that the DSS would pay for it’s “deliberate sinful silence” in the North Central state.

While speaking to the congregation at the Latter Rain Assembly auditorium on Sunday, January 7, the pastor turned politician claimed that the secret police was not innocent. Daily Post reports.

Bakare stated: “We cannot keep quiet while hardened murderers and criminals fill our land with the crimes of blood. That would be DSS, deliberate sinful silence, and I think secret service is guilty of that.

“The brutal murder going on in Benue state and other parts of Nigeria is very attrocious and wicked. There will be consequences of this dastard murder. Every one involved in one way or the other, either overtly or covertly, shall pay for it.”

Remember that Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue had confirmed that no fewer than 20 persons were murdered after suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked communities in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state few weeks ago.

Ortom disclosed this while briefing newsmen on Tuesday last week in Makurdi after the State security meeting.

On Wednesday last week, aggrieved youths in their hundreds embarked on a peaceful protest calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to “act now or resign.”
